W.C. Weil Company
Since 1978
Company History
In 1978, the W.C. Weil Company was founded by William “Bill” Weil, whose passion was providing superior products to serve the water and wastewater equipment industry. In 2002, the company was sold to salesman Greg Madia, who continued many of Bill’s business relationships throughout the municipal industry. Through Greg’s leadership, the company grew dramatically by cultivating a team culture that instilled a sincere desire to listen to its customers ever changing challenges. By constantly adjusting the business model, the company was able to address those challenges whenever they presented themselves.
On August 25, 2017, the W.C. Weil Company was purchased by a New Jersey-based PumpMan Holdings, LLC. The company operated under WC Weil PM, LLC dba PumpMan Pittsburgh until the recent acquisition of DAS Group, LLC, upon which time both companies were merged under the common PumpMan Pittsburgh, LLC. Greg Madia has remained a vital piece of PumpMan Pittsburgh’s success and currently operates as President of Sales for our fast-growing sales team.
Building on the foundation that the W.C. Weil Company created and the acquisition of DAS Group, LLC, PumpMan Pittsburgh continues to establish itself as the premier sales and service provider in the region. PumpMan’s goal to become a national pump system, service and repair company remains in focus and we look forward to continuing the exciting growth in Pittsburgh.
