Booster Pump Technicians
PumpMan Socal is currently seeking experienced Pump Technicians for Troubleshooting, Servicing, Repair, Maintenance and Installation and of all types of Domestic Booster Pump Systems.
Idea Candidates will possess Experience and working knowledge of constant & variable pressure activated pump control systems; Various types of pumps and related piping; Pressure reducing valves; Transducers; Pressure switches; relays etc.
Class “A” Truck driver/ Mechanic
PumpMan Socal is currently seeking qualified individuals to drive and operate our 2500 gallon & 5000 gallon Vacuum tanker trucks as well as performing Repairs & Maintenance to our fleet of Ford F Series Super Duty service trucks.
General duties will include: Drive & operate single axle 2500 gal Vacuum tanker truck, hauling non-Hazardous liquids (Requires Class “B” license); Drive & operate dual axle Semi truck with 5000 gal Vacuum tanker hauling non-Hazardous liquids (Requires Class “A” license); truck Mechanic to maintain and perform minor repairs to our fleet of Ford F series Super Duty Service trucks equipped with Power Stroke engines & Automatic Transmissions and two semi Trucks. Major repairs are typically outsourced; Assist pump mechanics & technicians with shop & field activities as necessary.
Plumbers/ Electricians/Maintenance Mechanics
PumpMan Socal is currently seeking experienced Field Service Plumbers, Technicians and helpers for Troubleshooting, Repair, Maintenance and installation of all types of pump systems in the Water and Waste-water industries.
Qualified Candidates will demonstrate competency in commercial/ Industrial plumbing, electrical, motor controls, repair and maintenance of pumps and rotating equipment. Confined Space Entry, HAZWOPER and First Aid Certifications are a plus. We provide On-The-Job Training to employees that exhibit the desire and passion to make this a long term career.
Sales & Marketing (Inside & Outside)
PumpMan Socal is currently seeking qualified individuals for our Sales and Marketing department If you have experience in Sales & Marketing as well as a basic knowledge of pump related equipment and systems, we may have a great job for you.
Some of the Job related duties for this position include: Incoming sales calls for pumps and equipment; Setup and orchestrate sales meetings with various Commercial, Industrial and Municipal Customers; Coordinate, set up and attend local trade shows; Perform research to identify and locate prime Customers within various Market segments; Cultivate new Customers, maintain existing Customers; Monitor, maintain and grow data bases of viable Customers; Email Marketing/ blasts; Website maintenance etc.
Facilities Maintenance
PumpMan Socal is currently seeking qualified individuals to perform Maintenance & repair of PumpMan Socal Machine shop, Warehouse, Office & Grounds as well as assist shop mechanics with repair of pumps and smaller portable construction Equipment.
Additional duties are generally described as: Repair/ replace lighting, switches, ceiling tiles & related items for office, Machine shop & warehouse; Light fabrication & modification of new & existing equipment; Operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools & other metal working equipment; Cleaning & organization of shop, warehouse and restrooms; Pickup & Delivery of materials & equipment; Remove debris from vacuum trailers, keep vacuum trailer area clean; Recycling & Scrap activities; Other tasks as assigned.
Pump Mechanic
PumpMan Socal is currently seeking qualified individuals for repair of pumps and rotating equipment for the water and wastewater industries.
Top candidates will be experienced with: Submersibles; Frame & close coupled end suction centrifugals; AODs; Turbines/ mixes flows; Split-cases; Propellers; Mixers; Motors; Electrical; Alignment; Balancing. If you are mechanically have a good attitude but lack some of the above referenced skills, we offer on-the-job training for the right candidates.
All Positions require candidates to have a good driving record, be Customer Service oriented with a good attitude.
